GYROKINESIS® EXERCISE

GYROKINESIS® exercises work the entire body through seven natural elements of spinal movement: forward, backward, left side, right side, left twist, right twist and circular. This approach systematically and gently works the joints and muscles through rhythmic and undulating movements. These movements stimulate the body's internal organs while different corresponding breathing patterns are integrated along with the movements. It is performed on a sitting on a stool, on the floor and standing. No specialized equipment is necessary.

GYROKINESIS® exercises simultaneously stretch and strengthen muscles and tendons while mobilizing and articulating the joints. The entire circulatory system is stimulated through breathing techniques paired with undulating circular and spiraling movements The system can dramatically increase range of motion, flexibility and coordination.

The GYROKINESIS® method is beneficial for people from all walks of life, age groups and heath. It can be used for rehabilitative purposes, preventive or general exercise, and improving performance of other activities, including, dance, golf, tennis and all others. Any body of any age can do GYROKINESIS® exercise, because it is gentle on the joints and can be adjusted to any fitness level.

GYROKINESIS® Private Sessions

In a Gyrokinesis private session you'll receive expert personal instruction which is a perfect way to start on your Gyrokinesis journey or to continue your practice. In a private session, you can focus on what is important to your health and well being. Your instructor will work with you to establish and reach short, mid and long term goals. Gyrokinesis is mat based and can be practiced anywhere without any special equipment.

GYROKINESIS® Duet Sessions

In a Gyrokinesis duet session you and your partner will receive expert personal instruction which is a perfect way to continue your Gyrokinesis journey. Sessions can be tailored to meet the needs of both participants, but it's advantageous that you and your partner are somewhat compatible physically to get the most out of your sessions. Gyrokinesis is mat based and can be practiced anywhere without any special equipment.

GYROKINESIS® Classes

Gyrokinesis classes are a great way to start if you want to get an idea of what it's like and don't want personal instruction. Classes are also a way to enhance your practice in between private sessions. We offer beginner, intermediate and virtual classes. Gyrokinesis is mat based and can be practiced anywhere without any special equipment.

GYROTONIC® equipment has been developed around the human body with emphasis on total and complete freedom of movement. All of the equipment was designed to enhance the process of building coordination, strength, and flexibility. GYROTONIC® exercises offer the same healthy resistance provided by water, but unlike exercises that are performed under water, where it is difficult to regulate an exact movement pattern and correct position, exercises performed on GYROTONIC® equipment are done with maximum adjustability to the range of motion and control of positioning.
